Many of us have heard about Arial Beel—one of the most famous wetlands of Munshiganj. However, it still remains vastly unexplored as it is not a usual tourist destination.

If you are a nature lover, you must visit this amazing Beel that spreads around 136 square kilometers-- situated south of Dhaka between Padma and Dhaleshwari River.

As September set in, we decided to present our audience with a glimpse of the beauty of this beel.

It only takes one and half hour to reach Srinagar from Gulistan in Dhaka. From Srinagar Bazaar, one can hire a motor boat for Tk. 1200.

It was early in the morning. Fishermen were busy preparing nets in the narrow channel leading our boat towards Arial Beel which comes alive for six months a year during the rainy season.

As we entered the wetland, the lush green beauty and crystal clear water energised us and filled our hearts with gratitude.

For a moment, it felt like we existed in fantasy, especially when we saw the trees standing upright in the water and schools of fish swimming in the clear water.

Arial Beel is a true representation of Bangladesh, where nature is in abundance. Thousands of people live on this Beel's natural resources.

After the monsoon is over, the region will be filled with diverse fruits and crops. Here, the soil is so fertile that famers don't need to use any fertiliser.

Arial Beel will cast a spell on you and if you want to be enchanted, do plan a visit to this place with family or friends.
